Sweety was kind enough to clean the hounds today. He even brushed their teeth with his finger! I keep lifting Stinky Dog’s jowls so I can smell the absence of odor. She was a good dog before the cleaning but she’s a really good dog now. Tiny Dog wasn’t too keen on the tooth brushing. I thought that she was going to have a heart attack from the anger.
My favorite part of dog washing day? Swaddling Tiny up like a baby. I walk out of the bedroom with her and and one of the boys will say, “A baby!” and then I announce, “It’s a girl! She’s a little hairy but we’re gonna love her anyway!” I do this every single time she’s washed. They’re good enough to play along with their crazy ass stepmom.

This was the first Halloween in a few years that I didn’t dress the dogs up. I had some good ideas but didn’t get around to implementing them. We didn’t have the boys at Halloween this year and I had to work so it seemed pointless. But next year…I’ll be ready next year.
I need to get rid of our double shot glasses. There really isn’t anything that I need to drink two shots at a time. Certainly not gin. We have this gigantic bottle of it and I’m ready to finish it so I can buy something else but it’s only half gone. It seems like its been half full forever. Maybe it’s magic. Yes, it must be magical because I had 6 of those glasses last night and didn’t feel too bad this morning once I started moving around.
Last night I dreamt that I bought a spiffy camera and was sad when I woke up and realized it was a dream. I opened my eyes and thought, “Hey! I’m gonna take some pictures!” and a moment later realized that it was a dream. I also did some emailing and phone calling last night. I also hid my bra from myself last night. It took me a damn hour to find it this morning. I woke up a little confused.
Our t.v. is on the fritz. Sweety replaced something in it (the color wheel) to try and make it better but it didn’t help. He thinks the wrong part was mailed to him. The people on the screen had an orange tint to them and it made a really loud humming noise. When he put the new part in – the people were blue but the humming noise was gone. He’s going to try and send the part back. I’d rather look at blue people than hear the t.v. hum.
It’s Science Project time, yet again. LB came up with an invention. Sweety helped him make it. It didn’t work. I told him that he will probably be the only kid to submit something that didn’t work so at least his teacher will know that his parents didn’t do the experiment.

I’m assuming you have a DLP type TV. The color wheel spins at like 9000 RPM so they make quite a racket if they are bad. And they get worse and worse if you don’t replace them. Sometimes the replacement has a jumper on it that you can move if the colors are wrong. If yours doesn’t and red and blue are reversed then it’s probably the wrong one.

What adorable pictures of Tiny….She really looks so cute in that towel…!
Halloween was very very quiet here this year….No kids, at all…..And that has been true for the last..now, THREE years. So I don’t even get the candy anymore…..If I did, I would just end up eating it all myself…lol!

Tiny Dog looks like a small ball of rage in those photos. I can’t imagine her dressed up for Halloween.
What, no pictures of Stinky?

Well. That’s completely cute. I’m not seeing the rage, there.
And, of course: hi.

Cute pics of Tiny dog. I laughed about the little bundle of joy routine. That’s a good memory for the kids. You would not believe the crazy things that kids remember. Strange dream, sorry about the camera not being real. Where did you put your bra? hahahaI
What are you going to replace the gin with? My son’s step kids got into his gin and they got into so much trouble. Little sots! They made gin snowcones.
Cudos for not doing LB science project. At least he should get an A for effort, instead of what all the cheaters will get bc their parents helped. That is character building in progress. I know that was not easy for you or Sweety. Thanks for a little glimpse into your Sunday.
I was in a play tonight in another town and my husband got in a fight with a pine tree and the tree won, He has a forehead full of stitches. Really looked bad when I got home. I ask him if he had had one too many? He told my neighbor that was what I would ask. Well, the man does like to drink and burn trees?

Midwestern City Boy – Yeah, it’s a DLP. The place we got it from said it was the right kind but must be defective so we’re getting a refund. Once the refund clears, we’ll order another one and see if that works. If not, I guess Sweety will be on the hunt for a new t.v.
Lady of the Hills – She loves being in that towel after bath because she knows the bath is over. By the time I got home from work, we were just getting mostly big kids without costumes. I saw a lot of kids with no costumes and their backpacks on backwards so it was on their chest & they were collecting candy in them. I turned off our light after our last group of trick or treaters had facial hair and tattoos. At that age, you can buy your own damn candy.
Renn – She doesn’t like being dressed but since I outweigh her it usually goes my way.
It’s hard to get a photo of Stinky after bath. She’s so excited to be out of the tub that if she sees me she wants to charge at me and rub all over me. Can’t get her in focus.
Rick – The rage is still there but she’s so exhausted from raging so much during the bath that it’s kind of subdued.
Hi, too.
FindingPam – I finally found my bra hidden in a cabinet in the bathroom. No idea why I stashed it there but was so happy to find it.
Thinking tequila will replace the gin. It’s been awhile since I had any. Gin snowcones? Hmmm, that sounds like an idea!
We’re still not done with the project. It’s up to me to take LB’s handwritten notes and type ‘em up and take some photos of the project. But at least the hard part is over!
A forehead full of stitches? Holy crap, batman. You should get him a crash helmet to wear. :)
Sara Sue – Some very interesting pics of Chi Chi 2.0 are forthcoming…
Moooooog35 – Trust me, this is the worst kind of hummer to have. It actually makes your penis shrivel.
TheMom – I’m so hoping that we’re able to fix the t.v. Really am not looking forward to shelling out for a new one.
Here Today, Gone Tomorrow – Tiny likes it when people appreciate her. Thank you.
