You people wouldn’t believe how many dogs and cats they have been through with the coaew. They run away. Or they have to give them away. They had a baby raccoon for awhile and it was left unattended in the grass and the dog killed it. Their last stepdad taught them that sometimes a dog just needs a good kicking to mind. I’ve told them that I don’t want to hear any animal stories from their mother’s house. I guess she went and got them another dog this weekend and just texted them a photo of it. Eh, I wonder how long this one will last.
They grouch that they need a dog here. That Tiny Dog and Stinky Dog aren’t really “their” dogs. That it’s “not fair” that I might get another Chihuahua or small dog. Tough shit. You are here half of the time. Who is going to take care of them when you are not here? Me & Sweety. No, thank you.

my neighbors are the same….
& it breaks my heart everytime one of their lil ones runs up to share their new pet info w/ me….
cause i know it will be mistreated, beaten, run away , ran over, & genreally not luv’d…
unlike the obssessiveness that goes on over here w/ my furkids…. =(

My pets are waaaaay too human, much like yours!! But, I read every day about the mistreated animals locally and nationwide. I truly believe PEOPLE need a license to have pets and children!!! :)

Every time my daughter comes to stay with me, one of her pets dies, runs away, gets run over, or they get a new pet. It’s as if they’re trying to make her not want to see me. Fortunately that’s never been an issue…

Now all the boys talk about is how much better their new dog (her name is “maddie”, btw. Sweety had mentioned the name “Madison” as one of his fave girl names but if we do breed, this name will now be off the list, I guess.) than Stinky and Tiny. I kind of want to kidney punch them when they knock my bitches.
