How are you all doing? This weekend has been great! We haven’t done much of anything but I just feel really good for some reason.
Yesterday was the 8th anniversary of the day that Sweety and I met. (He even left a comment on my FaceBook page about it yesterday! I know that was very out of the box for him.) On Friday night he was bowling and on his way home he called and asked if I’d like to meet him at the Waffle House for food. I am not one to turn down the Waffle House’s fantastic hashbrowns so I said yes and sped off to meet him there. Sweety then realized that it was after midnight and our anniversary and he called back to say we should meet at IHOP (since that’s where we had our first date). So I got ready to go to IHOP instead. He called back yet again to say that he was in IHOP’s parking lot and “it just didn’t feel right” so how about going to the Waffle House as originally planned? Okay, fine, whatever. Just feed me now that you’ve mentioned it!
We did end up at the Waffle House and it was so good! If you have one in your area, I would recommend a regular order of hashbrowns with mushroom, jalapenos and cheese. My guts didn’t agree with such a concoction after midnight though and I went home and laid awake til 3 a.m. while my stomach gurgled.
We decided that 8 years from now we’ll pick another place that’s open all night to have a late snack.
You know what I really like about Tiny Dog? Her sense of embarrassment. Can’t you feel it radiating from your screen? I put the ears on her to try them out before taking photos. She ran and hid from me when I brought them out again for a photo session. Finally, she realized that resistance was futile and just sat in whatever position I put her in for the photos.

LMAO!! Tiny, thank you for enduring such humiliation for my unbridled pleasure! Now, I too, feel great!

Tiny Dog is glad that her humiliation was beneficial to someone.
I’m going to give her a treat now to soothe her bruised ego.

Ah, Stinky Dog…I didn’t subject her to dress-up for this holiday. I couldn’t find bunny ears to fit her. :( Chi Chi 2.0 is “resting”. She hunted eggs this morning and is super tired. Heh.

Happy anniversary! And I almost – almost – feel sorry for Tiny Dog. Glad she got a treat to make up for the humiliation.

Thank you!
I admit that I felt a little bad when I was taking her photo because she was so obviously disgusted with the situation. But a dog will forgive you for a lot if you give her a leftover biscuit from Red Lobster!

I think Tiny Dog decided her energy would be better used by plotting revenge. I can’t find the bunny ears. I’m going to check later and see if they’ve been hidden under the couch.
One could LIVE off of those hashbrowns!

Tiny doesn’t care how you refer to her as long as you call her adorable. :)

Sweety is STILL making the rest of us (guys) look bad. Happy 8th meeting anniversary. When is the actual wedding anniversary? BTW: How does Tiny compare size-wise to an actual rabbit?

Our wedding anniversary is July 6. Tiny Dog weighs in at 6.6 pounds. She needs to go on a diet. After we go on vacation and she doesn’t get treats all of the time, she’ll lose a pound or so.

For some reason I have the absolute WORST time getting your blog to open – and commenting is even worse. But I prevail because I love ya!
Tiny Dog just makes my day!
Ooh I love Waffle AND Huddle House’s hashbrowns with cheddar cheese & mushrooms. Yummy goodness!

I am so sorry about the connection here! The host I use has been having problems. It’s driving me nuts too.
Tiny Dog is a fantastic little critter. I’m glad that she doesn’t try to bite when I dress her up!
I totally love eating there. Weirdest Waffle House experience – Sweety and I had to drive a truck to Atlanta and then turn around and come home. We stopped in one up there at around 2 a.m. About a dozen people, dressed to the nines (shiny suits, feather boas, the works!) came in to eat. It was like seeing a bunch of 30 – 40 year olds dressed up for a prom.

‘Round here, we like to order our WH hashbrowns ‘slaughtered and flogged’. It doesn’t really mean anything (that I know); it’s a lot of fun to watch the confusion as they TRY to figure it out.
Poor, sweet Tiny Dog. She looks positively ashamed!
