The best part of that story is that he refused a reward!

It made me really proud, for some reason. I guess it’s just nice to know that there are people in the world that do the right thing simply because it’s right, and not because they ‘deserve’ something for it.

It’s tough when the young’uns don’t quite get it right away, but you did a great job. Maybe he’ll tell all his friends about turning it in and show them all good example.
I once returned a 50cent plant hook to HomeDepot because I accidentally walked out of the store with it. Everyone, inlcuding the clerk, thought I was nuts for taking it back, which I thought was kind of sad. Since when is honesty something to be ashamed of? have a great weekend! – G

My Mom always taught us to return anything you find. I remember finding a pretty pencil on the ground at school and she had me take it to the office.
