Year before last, some kid threw her down on the way to school and when we asked her why she didn't break out some karate she said she was afraid she'd hurt him. Later, she asked her teacher if it was ok to use karate if another kid attacked her and the teacher gave her the go ahead. Lucky for the other kids, nobody else bothered her like that.
